Splash & Play At Gloucester's Good Harbor Beach
One of the best places for outdoor fun in Gloucester, Good Harbor Beach offers calm waves, endless white sand and unmatched views of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy swimming, body surfing and boogie boarding in the water. Build a sand castle, fly a kite, play beach games, or simply relax for a picnic and sunbathing on the sand. Wait until low tide, when you can walk out to Salt Island and explore it's shores or visit the tide pools to see the aquatic wonders usually hidden under water. In the summer, you can rent water toys and buy snacks at the concession stand. Lifeguards are on duty from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Showers and restrooms make it easy to rinse off and clean up after your day on the beach.Details
